New Music Added to the Disney Avenue Music Player

By Keith Mahne

One of my absolute favorite things to do each day is to slap on a pair of headphones, head to the DisneyAvenue.com desktop site and listen to the magical music from our Music Player. While listening, I like to search my favorite Disney blogs and just escape reality, unwind, relax and enjoy the world of Disney. I've recently added a wonderful new album to the Playlist. Find out more after the page break...

On our recent trip to Walt Disney World, I found a copy of Classically Disney by The Disney String Quartet. As a recent description sates,
"It's the perfect album for those elegant evenings of cheese, wine and gossamer-like reminisces about your last Disney Parks visit together is Classically Disney. This is an exquisite array of Disney hits played by a superb string quartet, including “Someday My Prince Will Come” from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Kiss the Girl” from “The Little Mermaid” and even “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” from Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress. While this disc is playing, you’ll almost hear Jeeves, your imaginary English butler, ask, “Would you care to partake of another smoked turkey leg, sir?” or “Shall I scoop out several dollops of Dole Whip for you, madam?”

So during your daily Disney escape, make sure to begin your journey at the DisneyAvenue.com desktop site, click the playlist button at the top right and select the Disney String Quartet. Now if I can only find a way to get you a virtual Jeeves, your very own English butler!

I always wondered what our Disney Avenue readers thought of the Music Player. I once removed it out of fear that it may be annoying. After doing so I received a TON of emails asking where it went. So I assume many of you feel the same way I do and enjoy it. Please let me know what you think of the Disney Avenue Music Player in the comments below. Happy Listening!!

  1. Hi Keith! I know this post is a bit old now, but I have been looking for a way to listen to this Disney String quartet album. Do you still have it available to preview? I did not see it in the playlist. Thanks in advance for the help!
