Experience the Disney Avenue Music Player

By Keith Mahne

If you've been a member of Disney Avenue for awhile, you probably realize just how crucial music is to your experience here on the site. I'm always looking for new music to add to the Disney Avenue Music Player and I'm excited to fill you in on some new additions to our playlist. Join me after the page break and let's get taken away on some magical new tunes...

1) Main Street USA (1976 - 1991) (Morning) Music Loop

Our first new addition to tell you about is an exciting discovery. It's the actual music loop that played on Main Street, USA during the morning hours from 1976 to 1991 at Walt Disney World. This one is sure to bring back fond memories of old family trips to the vacation kingdom of the world...

2) Main Street USA (1976 - 1991) (Evening) Music Loop

In keeping with the same emotions of our first new addition, this next one is just as special. This is the Main Street, USA evening time music loop that played during 1976 - 1991 as well. If you're in the mood to reminisce on past evening strolls with friends and family down Main Street, this music loop is for you...

3) Disney's Tangled - I See the Light (Piano Version)

This next one gets me every time. It's a piano version of I See The Light from Disney's Tangled. This tune is one of my favorite Alan Menken compositions. Although you won't be able to watch this soothing song be performed from the Disney Avenue Music Player, you can still enjoy hearing it while reading your favorite articles. Watch this lovely song as it's played on the piano below...

4) Epcot's Norway Pavilion Area Music

One of my favorite places to visit while enjoying a day at Epcot is Norway. Maelstrom was always a must on our trips to Walt Disney World. Although I am extremely sad to see it go, I look forward to seeing what the Imagineers have in store for us next. Another reason I enjoy this pavilion so much was the excellent music loop it provided. Now, we can hear it any time we choose. Have a listen, it's extremely relaxing...

5) Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Area Music

Animal Kingdom Lodge is a favorite and a must stay for many Walt Disney World visitors. It's easy to understand why as it's one of the most beautiful resorts on property. This is the main music loop used at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. These songs are played in the Kidani Village lobby, the area around Sanaa, and around the pool. If you love the lodge you're going to adore this addition...

6) Disneyland's Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar Music Loop

Located within the Disneyland Hotel’s campus, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar gives guests a taste of island living. Trader Sam’s is a really fun place to grab some drinks and appetizers. If you are lucky enough to score a table inside, you’ll get to experience the Tiki Hut, and the periodic storms when people order certain drinks from the bar. Now though, anytime you feel in the mood, you can hear the unique ambient music of this Disney fan favorite right here on Disney Avenue...

7) Disney Parks Tribute: Welcome Home

Up next we have a fantastic fan made Disney Parks tribute I stumbled across and thought it would be a perfect addition to the Disney Avenue Music Player. It's split into sections: Intro, The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, The Studios, A Magical Ending, and The End. I fell in love with it when I heard it and I think you will too...

8) Epcot's American Adventure Pavilion Area Music

This music from the American Adventure Pavilion at Epcot is sure to make you feel patriotic. The centerpiece of Epcot's World Showcase and the pavilion's main attraction, an Audio-Animatronics stage show of American history, is a must see destination of the Park. The area's music loop is absolutely wonderful and I love every minute of it. See how you feel about it...

9) Magic of Walt Disney World Song

Don't you just love the sounds of vintage Walt Disney World? This Magic of Walt Disney World song is sure to cause those nostalgic memories to come flooding in. This song reminds me of early Disney World days when the Contemporary and Polynesian Resorts were the main places to stay and the Magic Kingdom was the only park on property. I love retro Disney World and this song has retro written all over it...

10) Disney's Polynesian Resort Area Music

I've saved the best for last. Sit back and relax as you listen to some magical Polynesian Resort music brought to you by Disney Avenue. I've been listening to this music loop all day today since I pieced it together for your enjoyment. It's the definition of soothing and reminds me of torch-lit nights at one of my favorite places on property. If you're a fan and call the Polynesian Resort home, you're going to really adore this one. Enjoy friends...

That about does it for this new addition of songs to the Disney Avenue Music Player. Don't forget to click the playlist button in the top right-hand corner of the page to find all of your favorite tunes...

I personally use our Music Player every time I start up the computer. In fact, I'm listening to it right now as I write this article and as I often do with every other one you'll find here on the site. Not only that, but it's a great mood setter and way to unwind after work or just while you search your favorite sites. Remember, the Disney Avenue Music Player can only be accessed from our desktop version of the site and is not compatible from the mobile version.

I hope you get as much joy from these magical songs as I do. I'll always be adding to it and I'll be sure to let you know whenever I do. Until next time friends...Aloha!
