12 New Songs Just Added to the Disney Avenue Music Player

By Keith Mahne

What would Disney be without music? How about the Parks and Resorts without those magical music loops? I don't even want to think about it. Another thing I don't want to think about is Disney Avenue without the Disney Avenue Music Player. I'm always looking for ways to fill our playlist with more magical tunes that will not only transport you to your favorite Disney spot, but also soothe your soul and relax your mind. And so friends, I have 12 new additions to the music player that I think you are going to love. Join me in today's article and I'll tell you all about them...

Just as a quick refresher, the Disney Avenue Music Player can only be accessed from the desktop version of the website. Look for the music bar that runs along the top of the site. You can control all of our music from there and access the playlist containing every song in the catalog by clicking on the playlist button at the top, right-hand corner of the page...

(For your listening pleasure, please remember to pause the Disney Avenue Music Player at the top, left-hand corner of the page prior to playing the songs below.)

1) Tokyo DisneySea Mediterranean Harbor Area Music

Mediterranean Harbor is the gateway to Tokyo DisneySea. Designed to resemble a seaport in Italy, the buildings in the area have design touches inspired by architecture from Portofino, Tuscany and Venice. This port city is filled with several shops and restaurants, but also uniquely integrates the world’s first and only themed hotel within a Disney park – the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel Miracosta. The music loop here is glorious and one of my new favorites to relax and unwind to...

The Tokyo DisneySea Mediterranean Harbor Area Music is track number 169 in the Disney Avenue Music Player's playlist. Enjoy it anytime you like.

2) Disney's Grand Californian Hotel Area Music

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel celebrates the turn-of-the-century romantic Craftsman movement of California. Designed to capture the artistic exploration of California's coastlines, with its Monterey pines and redwood forests, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel is layered with the memories of the arroyo craftsman, the mission pioneers, the Plein Air school of painters and daring architecture. I think you'll find the hotel's area music to be a perfect fit...

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel Area Music is track number 170 in the playlist.

3) Disney's Old Key West Resort Music Loop

A trip to Disney's Old Key West Resort allows you to experience the romance of the Florida Keys. Designed to be a sprawling island hamlet with shimmering waterways, swaying palm trees and manicured golf-course fairways, the resort is filled with tropical area music to really set the mood...

If you are ever in the mood to take a mental trip to Disney's Old Key West Resort, simply click on track number 171 in the playlist. It's great medicine in between trips to the resort!

4)  Disney's Wilderness Lodge Area Music

Upon entering Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you immediately escape to the rustic majesty of America’s Great Northwest. Inspired by turn-of-the-century National Park lodges, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge celebrates American craftsmanship and honors the beauty of the untamed wilderness. To help you soak in the splendor of the great outdoors is this extremely relaxing Wilderness Lodge Area Music...

Disney's Wilderness Lodge Area Music is track number 172 in the playlist. It's great for unwinding after a long day of work, trust me!

5) Dream Along with Mickey Castle Show

The Dream Along with Mickey castle stage show at the Magic Kingdom was a real treat. The show has been performed at the Park since September of 2006 and recently closed on April 2nd, 2016 to make way for Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire. The show features Mickey and Friends as they celebrate the magic of dreams...

Anytime you'd like to reminisce on this fan-favorite show, click on track number 173 and get whisked away.

6) Delta Dreamflight Theme Song

Delta Dreamflight was an attraction located in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom and was sponsored by Delta Air Lines. Dreamflight replaced an attraction called If You Could Fly, which was originally the attraction If You Had Wings, sponsored by Eastern Air Lines. This was the attraction's theme song and boy is it a good one...

Hear the attraction's wonderful theme song whenever you get the urge by selecting track number 174 in the playlist.

7)  Walt Disney Studios Paris "Daytime" Music Loop

Enjoy the entire Walt Disney Studios Paris "Daytime" Music Loop that plays at the entrance to the Park in Paris during the regular season. It's filled with all sorts of familiar movie tunes...

Click on track number 176 to hear the Walt Disney Studios Paris Daytime Music Loop at anytime.

8) Walt Disney Studios Paris "Nighttime" Music Loop

Like the previous music loop, the Walt Disney Studios Paris "Nighttime" Music Loop that plays at the entrance to the Park in Paris during the regular season is a real delight for your eardrums. It too is filled with all sorts of classic movie tunes...

Choose track number 175 to hear the Walt Disney Studios Paris Nighttime Music Loop at anytime.

9) Grizzly Peak Area Music Loop

Journey to a land filled with tall evergreen trees, roaring rapids, rugged mountains and an adventure around every corner. Grizzly Peak pays homage to the wonders of nature, the majesty of the great outdoors and the pioneering spirit of the men and women who explored California's natural landscape — and sought to preserve its beauty through the creation of the national parks in the early 20th century. Adding to the area's wonder is the mountainous music loop that fills the air...

Enjoy the sounds of DCA's Grizzly Peak by selecting track number 177 in the playlist.

10) Paradise Pier Area Music Loop

Celebrate the excitement and romance of those classic seaside amusement piers of yesteryear. From boardwalks to gardens and rollercoasters, you've never had so much fun in the sun until you strolled down Paradise Pier. The area music loop is one of my favorites and will have your foot tapping in no time...

Take a stroll down DCA's Paradise Pier at any moment simply by clicking track number 178 in the playlist.

11) Epcot's Tapestry of Nations Music Loop

The Tapestry of Nations was a parade at Epcot that ran around the World Showcase Lagoon from 1999 to 2001, after which it was rethemed as Tapestry of Dreams until it came to an end in March 2003. The music for the parade is one of the best Disney has ever created...

If you were a fan of Tapestry of Nations, as most of us that had the pleasure of seeing it are, you are going to be playing this one often. I know I sure do! Click on track number 179 to enjoy Epcot's Tapestry of Nations Music Loop whenever you want to take a stroll down memory lane.

12) Disneyland's New Orleans Square Music Loop

Being a New Orleans native, this is currently my new favorite track in the playlist. This music loop allows you to listen to the sounds of the historic French Quarter that Walt Disney recreated in Disneyland. Sit back, relax and enjoy the music that fills the picturesque courtyards and lacy wrought-iron balconies with the swing of jazz bands. The only thing missing in this music loop is the smell of down-home cooking...

To enjoy these contagious French Quarter tunes of New Orleans Square, click on track number 180. This one always puts a smile on my face.

Well friends, that about does it for this Disney Avenue Music Player update. I am constantly finding and adding new music loops to the playlist and I'll be sure to update you again with the new additions as they come. Do you use and enjoy the Disney Avenue Music Player? I'd love to get your thoughts and opinions on it. Personally, I use it every single day. Whenever I am at my computer, I immediately put a pair of headphones on and hit play before writing articles or searching my favorite Disney sites. I hope you enjoy these new tunes that fill the air of the Parks and Resorts, that they add to your reading experience here on DisneyAvenue.com, and, most importantly, that they bring you a little Disney magic wherever you are.
