Paradiso 37 at Disney Springs Review

By Keith Mahne

What do you get when you mix a restaurant with a really fun atmosphere that features North, Central and South American dishes, has a gorgeous bar with countless types of tequila, signature margaritas and a international wine selection and pack that into a colorful and lively setting next to a beautiful lake with stunning views? You get Paradiso 37 at Disney Springs! Find out why you and your family need to make this great location a must on your next visit to Disney Springs...

Recently I was invited to try out the familiar Disney Springs restaurant Paradiso 37. This was my wife and I's very first visit to the location, believe it or not. We've certainly passed by it a million times and always wanted to give it a try but, for one reason or another, just never got around to it. We were definitely excited at the opportunity to wrap our taste buds around this restaurant which has been a part of the old Pleasure Island area of Disney Springs since June 4, 2009.

Paradiso 37 (the 37 in its name represents the 37 countries of North, Central and South America that inspire their menu) resides across from the former Pleasure Island nightclub known as 8TRAX (remember that place) and will soon be neighbors with The Edison, one of the last components of the new Disney Springs that has yet to open.

Upon entering Paradiso 37, I found the restaurant's interior and atmosphere to be fun and lively with a gorgeous floor-to-ceiling bar that showcased their large selection of tequila...

My wife and I were seated at a table towards the back of the restaurant which I highly recommend. As soon as we sat down we couldn't help but notice the beautiful view of Village Lake and the resort boat shuttles...

With the theme of Paradiso 37 being “A Taste of the Americas,” you’ll notice that there is something for everyone to enjoy with popular favorites from North, Central, and South America. You can view their full menu by clicking HERE. We decided to begin our visit with the Paradiso 37 Dipping Trio starter which consists of Guacamole, chili con carne, spinach dip and corn tortilla chips for dipping...

This Paradiso 37 Dipping Trio was excellent, especially the spinach dip. I definitely recommend getting just the spinach dip though as it was literally to die for! My wife Stephanie went with a White Wine Sangria in a souvenir cup which she enjoy...

Usually one adult beverage is more than enough for my wife and I at dinner...that was until one of the mangers informed us about their Mojito Plus drink selection made at your table by one of Paradiso 37's friendly Mojito girls...

We decided on the Old San Juan Mojito Plus and I can't say this with enough enthusiasm so I'll put it in all caps: THIS WAS THE BEST ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE I HAVE EVER TASTED!!!!! It even comes with a delicious piece of sugar cane and a souvenir glass with the drink's recipe on it...

Old San Juan Mojito Plus made at our table and absolutely delicious

After our appetizer and the best adult beverage I have ever tasted, it was time to order dinner. Stephanie decided on the Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon that came with Roasted Vegetables, Cilantro Rice, Citrus Honey Glaze and Grilled Lemon. We don't order fish that often but my wife loved it...

I decided on the Tour of Paradiso “The Land” entrée that came with Beef Skewers, BBQ Ribs, Pita Bread, Cabbage Slaw, Chicken Enchilada, Cilantro Rice and P37 Beans. It was really delicious especially the ribs...

After dinner it was time for dessert. We decided on the Pineapple Upside Down Cake (which is a deliciously warm Caramelized Pineapple cake served with a rum caramel sauce and topped with vanilla ice cream) and also the Mini Cones that comes with four waffle cones of Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry and Cookies and Cream. Yummy...

If you have never experienced this restaurant for yourself, you absolutely must give Paradiso 37 a try on your next visit to Walt Disney World. I have been dreaming about that Mojito Plus drink made at our table with fresh ingredients since we left and can't wait to go back and try another one. And don't let that gorgeous bar and their amazing alcoholic drink selection give you the impression that the little ones aren't welcome. Paradiso 37 managers told me that they welcome children at all times of the day (this is Walt Disney World) and what parent doesn't need a little stress reliever after a long day at the Parks, right?!

The only let down of our visit to Paradiso was that we waited so long to try it out. This truly is a fun dining establishment that will take you to the flavors and culture of the Americas without having to leave your seat.
