It's Halloween time again in the Disney Parks as well as here on Disney Avenue. As many of our regular visitors are aware, we post a special Halloween and Christmas music player on the site during the holidays. Now that October is upon us, let's take a listen to 13 Disney Halloween tracks that is sure to get you in the spirit of Halloween...







Track H1) Mickey's Boo To You Parade

Track H2) Disney's Hocus Pocus Complete Musical Score





What Disney fan can get truly get in the Halloween spirit without watching the classic Halloween movie Hocus Pocus?!?! I know I certainly can't. Last year we added the musical score to our Halloween Music Player and literally get people emailing us to ask when will it be back up? Well here it is! Enjoy...

Track H3) Main Street Pumpkin Festival





This next one comes from our friend Chris Lyndon at DisneyChris.com and his absolutely amazing Disneyland Magical Audio Tour. Disneyland has been celebrating Halloween in a major way for many years now, and like the Christmas season, Main Street is the most decked out of all the areas in the park. Over 300 Jack-O-Lanterns are displayed up and down the boulevard, and for several years a special ceremony took place to crown the queen of the Pumpkin Festival...

Track H4) Ride of the Headless Horseman





Here's another one that comes from the Disneyland Magical Audio Tour. It's a tradition that began in Walt Disney World and that finally made its way to Disneyland in 2016. Before the start of the new Frightfully Fun Parade, with a flaming Jack-O-Lantern in hand, the legendary Headless Horseman from "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" gallops up and down Main Street in search of a new head. Maybe he will choose yours...

Track H5) Disney's Hocus Pocus - I Put A Spell On You





"I Put a Spell on You" is a 1956 song originally written by Screamin' Jay Hawkins, whose recording was selected as one of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll. Bette Midler sang a cover of this song, albeit with different lyrics, in the classic Halloween film Hocus Pocus which is my favorite part of the movie and sure does get stuck in your head...

Track H6) Mickey's Trick or Treat Party Riverfront Area Music





During Mickey's Trick-or-Treat Party, The Rivers of America are covered with an eerie layer of ghostly fog, and the Frontierland landing is transformed into a special photo taking location called Pirate Wharf. Here guests can say cheese with favorite Disney pirates including Captain Hook and the one and only Captain Jack Sparrow. This one also comes from the Disneyland Magical Audio Tour...

Track H7) Halloween Carnival Magic Show





Up next is another gem from the Disneyland Magical Audio Tour. At Disneyland's Big Thunder Ranch main stage, a special kid-friendly magic show was presented during the Halloween Carnival events. A master of prestidigitation would first charm the audience with traditional card tricks, then would impress them by levitating his assistant, and for the grand finale, he would make Mickey Mouse magically appear...

Track H8) This Is Halloween - Nightmare Before Christmas Soundtrack





The Nightmare Before Christmas is the fifteenth soundtrack album by American composer Danny Elfman. It was released on October 12, 1993, by Walt Disney Records to promote the 1993 American stop-motion animated musical dark fantasy film The Nightmare Before Christmas and makes the perfect Halloween track...

Track H10) Pioneer Mercantile Halloween Sing-Along





On the back wall of Frontierland's Pioneer Mercantile is a stretched rawhide screen where scenes from "Old Yeller" and "Pocahontas" are projected on a constant loop. During the Halloween season, the normal film clips are replaced with a repeat showing of the 1998 Disney Sing-Along Songs video, "Happy Haunting Party at Disneyland." Here is another great one from the the Disneyland Magical Audio Tour. From early fall and throughout the entire holiday season, the French Market restaurant is the official greeting area for Jack Skellington. To provide the proper atmosphere, music from several Danny Elfman motion picture scores is used, including Edward Scissorhands, the Nightmare Before Christmas and the Legend of Sleepy Hollow....
